Purpose:

This Cut-off Box (PCB Test Card) unit is primarily used for testing of the Falcon 2000 Battery Reverser Current Protection Circuit and can be utilized to trouble shoot the circuit card.

Use:

The Falcon 2000 Battery Reverse Current Circuit Cut-off Box (PCB Test Card) unit is designed to provide easy access to accomplish the Reverse Current Protection Circuit Test in accordance with Operations Code 243131 Work Card 24-313 and can also be utilized to trouble shoot the circuit.

The PCB Test Card Cut-Off unit plugs into the card slot after removing the printed circuit card 544PC1 from the LH main electrical box 10PZ. The printed circuit Card 544PC1 is then inserted into the connector on the pig tail. The aircraft electrical system is energized per the work card 24-313. The Push-to-Test Switch on the PCB Cut-off card is engaged simulating the removal of terminal 15 strap and connecting terminals 13 & 15 completing the circuit test. The cut-off box eliminates disconnecting and connecting of the terminals with its built in Push-to-Test circuit.

Technicians utilizing this PCB Test unit will find that accomplishing the Reverse Current Circuit Protection Test easy and efficient. Instructions outlined in the Wok Card shall be followed; however, the removal and connecting of the terminal straps in step 3 are eliminated by using the test card. The test card performs the removal and connecting function during the test.
